TERMS & CONDITIONS

A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 clients are able to attend a a group Pilates session.

All Pilates classes run for a total of 45 minutes.

As a courtesy to others, mobile phones are not to be used during your Pilates class.

Please let your Pilates trainer know of any injuries or concerns prior to the class commencing. If at any point before or during the session your trainer considers that you are unfit for the class, pose a risk to yourself or others, then your trainer has the right to ask you to leave the session. Should this occur, Pilate Hard will help you reschedule if you wish (subject to medical clearance if required by Pilate Hard).

Grip socks are compulsory for hygiene and safety reasons – if you don’t have any grip socks, Pilate Hard can sell you a pair at the studio prior to the commencement of your class.

Out of consideration for the trainer, other clients, and your safety, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled Pilates class, our trainers reserve the right to refuse you participating.

You must be at least 16 years of age to attend any of Pilate Hard's classes.

In order to protect your health and safety, and that of other clients, we ask that you listen carefully to all instructions from your trainer both before and during the session.

At Pilate Hard we don’t mess around… our Pilates classes will be strenuous! While our classes are perfect for those of you in good health, we recommend you consult with a physician before starting this or any exercise program. If you experience any pain or discomfort during the course of the program, stop exercising and tell your trainer immediately.

Pregnant clients may only participate in Pilates classes if they have received (and supply Pilate Hard with a copy of) a doctor’s certificate certifying that the client is safe to attend. Notwithstanding this, pregnant clients are advised not to participate in Reformer – Go Hard classes.

Pilate Hard does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen items and recommends that you secure your items safely within the studio.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations by clients (including no shows)
At Pilate Hard we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise from time-to-time.
If something should arise for you which means that you are no longer able to attend a class in which you are enrolled, we ask that you cancel your attendance:

At least 5 hours before the start time for that Pilates class.

With respect to 6.30am or 7.20am classes, by 9pm the night before the scheduled class.
All cancellations are to be made via the Mindbody online portal. Our cancellation policy will be strictly enforced to ensure that your place in the Pilates class can be offered to someone else who loves Pilates as much as you do. If we don’t hear from you about your cancellation in accordance with these times (including where you are a no-show to a class without providing us notice), we will not be able to provide you with a refund or class credit and you will be charged the full rate.
If you hold a weekly or yearly unlimited, membership and:

Fail to cancel or no show a booked session in accordance with this cancellation policy, a $10 fee will be automatically deducted from your nominated account.
Cancellations by Pilate Hard
A minimum of 2 clients are required for Pilates classes to run. If you are the only client booked into a class:

3 hours before the 9.30am class;

5 hours before afternoon and evening classes; or
-
At 9.30pm the evening before 6.30am or 7.20am classes,
The class will unfortunately be cancelled. Should this occur, Pilate Hard will contact you to inform you of the cancellation and to help you reschedule if you wish. If you do not choose to reschedule, Pilate Hard will provide you with a refund for the cancelled class.
Bookings – using the mindbody portal

You are required to book into a Pilates class prior to attending.

Bookings can only be made via the Mindbody online portal. Pilate Hard can assist you in accessing and using the Mindbody online portal if required.

Payment must be made prior to booking.

Pilate Hard offers an automated wait-list system. If a class is full and you are at the top of the wait-list, you will receive an SMS from Pilate Hard letting you know that a space in your desired class has become available. If you receive this SMS, you are under no obligation to take the class, however we do ask that you respond by accepting or declining the offer. If you tell us that you cannot attend, your place will be offered to the next client on the waitlist. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you can attend the session and then if you’re a no-show to the class, we will not be able to provide you with a refund or class credit and you will be charged the full rate.

All sessions are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Only the person booked into a class may participate in the class. If someone other than the person booked in arrives to use the session, they will be turned away or asked to create their own account and purchase their own sessions.
Casual classes, class packs and specials

Payments for casual Pilates classes, casual class packs and specials offered by Pilate Hard from time to time can be purchased in person at the Pilate Hard studio or via telephone.

Casual class packages are valid for 3, 6 or 12 months from the date of purchase. The casual class packages, and yearly memberships may be extended/suspended if you are injured, suffer severe emotional circumstances or extreme sickness. Please ensure that you contact Pilate Hard as soon as possible if these circumstances arise, noting that Pilate Hard may request a medical certificate or similar prior to agreeing to an extension/suspension.

Our 5-pack Trial is valid for 21 days from the first class booked and is valid one time only to new clients and are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase
Memberships: weekly and monthly

All memberships are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

All memberships are to be paid for via the Mindbody online portal.

Weekly memberships will be activated from on the date of purchase. Payments will be deducted fortnightly in advance.

All weekly memberships require an 8-week minimum and Pilate Hard requires two weeks’ notice of your intention to cancel your weekly membership. Please note, memberships cannot be cancelled within the initial 8-week period.

Membership fees will be charged to your nominated credit card or bank account on a weekly basis via a third party biller, EziDebit. It is your responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available to cover the weekly auto pay. If any auto pay is declined due to insufficient funds EziDebit will charge you a fee of $11.90 from your account after the failed payment.

Memberships may be suspended if you are injured, suffer severe emotional circumstances or extreme sickness. Please ensure that you contact Pilate Hard as soon as possible if these circumstances arise, noting that Pilate Hard may request a medical certificate or similar prior to agreeing to a suspension.

Memberships may also be suspended (for a maximum period of 6 weeks per calendar year) if you are going on holiday or just need a bit of time off from exercise. You need to give Pilate Hard at least 1 week’s written notice (by emailing hello@pilatehard.com.au) prior to your proposed suspension in order for the suspension to be activated.
Acknowledgement and agreement
By booking into a class offered by Pilate Hard, making payment for that class and/or attending the class, you agree that these terms will apply unamended to the fullest extent permitted by law. Each time you use Pilate Hard’s services, you agree to comply with, and be bound by, these terms and acknowledge that Pilate Hard may rely upon your agreement.
In consideration for being allowed to participate in the activities and programs offered by Pilate Hard, to use equipment and props, in addition to the payments, fees and charges, you waive, release, and forever discharge Pilate Hard or its members from any and all responsibilities or liability from injuries or damages resulting from your participation in such activities and programs.
You acknowledge and agree that classes may be physically strenuous, and that full care must be taken when receiving instructions and performing exercises. You understand and accept that there is potential risk of personal injury, property loss or death, and you expressly assume and accept all risks. You agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Pilate Hard or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
